Resistant grape varieties generally need two preventive spraying. One before flowering and the second shortly after flowering, when the berries reach pea size. Of course, when we talk about resistant varieties with maximum resistance, these can be cultivated with the right methods of cultivation completely without chemical protection.

It is a big difference if you are using a fungicide based on simple elementary components, namely copper (downy mildew) or sulfur (powdery mildew) or a fungicide produced by the synthesis of organic components.

Important role is also played here by the degree of resistance different grape varieties and the microclimatic conditions at the cultivation area.
