A blue wine grape variety with genetically fixed field resistance to powdery mildew, downy mildew, and botrytis. Tolerant of phylloxera. With good agricultural practices, chemical protection is practically unnecessary. The shoots ripen reliably and well. Pruning to 30 fruit-bearing buds per bush and short pruning of the one-year-old fruiting shoots to 3-4 buds is recommended. Livadijskyj Chernyj is suitable for producing high-quality light red wines or harmonious red dessert wines. Its flavor profile reveals notes of muscat, plum, and chocolate. These wines achieve high scores in competitions.
